What We Do
Warwick Manor Behavioral Health uses a public health approach to reduce risk factors as a means of treating addictive disease and mental health disorders. WMBH’s methodology of risk factor reduction has evolved as the foundation of WMBH’s health care and behavioral health treatment philosophy.
WMBH uses a short-term, therapeutic community model to promote structure, active participation, accountability and socially acceptable behaviors in a drug-free, supervised environment. This model is the most intensive short-term stabilization program available for the substance use disorder and co-occurring population of Maryland. Our program consists of a combination of key elements from a number of successful, evidence-based treatment models designed totarget this population's special treatment needs.
